Words and Pictures: Careful...
I'm a big fan of World War II Propaganda posters, particularly the themes about 'careless talk' and the thifty, 'make do and mend' themes.

Wow! Some of those messages were really hardcore. The propaganda machine really drove the point home in those days.

what are we meant to 'be sure' of exactly?!
They're awesome! Who doesn't love a little bit of propaganda?! I especially dig the car pooling one!
the last one I guess is buying into the paranoia ideas about spraying crops and the like, with the underlying idea that growing your own saves food stamps and money for the government.
