Polka Dot Rabbit winter warmer giveaway!
Winter is hard after an overseas trip. I suddenly find myself wearing layers of clothing and snuggling on the couch. Hot chocolate and mulled wine have made a re-entry in the house and I have a sudden urge to bake.
Well, it is said that giving is better than receiving and in honour of this I am giving away a pair of Polka Dot Rabbit fingerless gloves, loving embroidered by me in a new retro style design! To win these gloves, all you need to do is reply to the post about your favourite ways to stay happy in winter. I will announce the winner a week from today on July 30th.

I don't enjoy Winter, but I survive it with lots of ginger tea, extra kitty cuddles and layers of warm clothes.
favourite ways to keep warm...ummm...i'm thinkin an open fireplace...some of that mulled wine...a big bear of a man with his arms around me...a pussy cat draped over my feet....heaven...
Aw they're too adorable!
My absolute favourite way to keep warm on a winters day: Weekend away to the alps, red wine, log fire, comfy couch and a good book :)
What a great idea! I have to say that my favourite way to keep warm in winter is under a hand crocheted rug in front of the fire, with many hot soups in hand-warming mugs...
Here are some things that make me happy in the chilly Melbourne winter-wearing woolly accessories, pulling out my Nana knitted blanket, roast vegies, winter sun, my extra fluffy cats, coats and laksa soup.

Winters here in Louisiana aren't too bad, but, when it gets cold...my boyfriend and I open the front door and let it get cold in the living room while we snuggle on the couch for hours. It's beautiful.
Nice giveaway idea!
How did I miss this??
I love my microwaveable wheat bag, mum's beef and guinness stew, and hot mulled mead from Knopwood's Retreat in Hobart.
I'm an expert at this: bar heater, hot water bottle, merino and polyprop long underwear 24/7, holiday in tropical paradise, hot soups, and lots of chocolate for that extra layer of warming fatness
Gorgeous gloves. So, my favourite ways to stay happy in winter. I'm going to be controversial with my first one: bike riding to work in the crisp, clear mornings. After two seconds I'm warm from the exercise and happily watching the frost sparkle while the cold air rushes up my nose and wakes me up. And an oldie but a goodie, hot hot hot soup.
I take my antidepressants. : P
(sorry in a grump today) but those mits are just tooooo cuuuuute.
