Celebrate Polka Dot Rabbit's 600th blog post!

Unbelievably, this is my 600th blog post! I really enjoy writing a blog, it's a great way to consolidate my creativity in one place with stories, items and goodies which inspire my creativity and musings about day to day life. So much has happened in all these posts.... creating new goodies, getting married, travelling overseas, participating in exhibitions, running workshops, leaving one job for a new enterprise....Sometimes I read other people's blogs who also sell things and their blog seems to be more advertisements for their wares and not much else and not much else but I tend not to do this as it's just plain old boring really.

News from the warren...

-Finished my 'day' job on friday...great feeling!

-Off to Hobart on the weekend to guest speak at Treading Lightly Enviro Fest this weekend for Green Renters. From there we'll be spending a few days in Sydney presenting workshops to various local municipalities.

-Recovering from a rotten cold

-Involved in a super, secret charity project!

-New gloves stocked at Little Shop of Handmade and Blackbird Corner

- Will be launching some new Polka Dot Rabbit products upon my return, haven't had time to photograph yet!

Baby it's cold outside...

Luckily I've been hard at work embroidering gloves to save our hands! Wool free, these are vegan friendly and great for those allergic to wool. Designed and hand embroidered by me, here in Melbourne

*note-I've contacted all the sources I have for gloves in Australia and I'm unable to find any which are wool free and made in Australia (or not made in China but willing to ship to Australia) but I will keep trying! Watch this space.
