We've conducted a few workshops in sydney and melbourne including the Melbourne Social Forum and Sustainable Living Festival and also appeared in some print publications. We also have a fortnightly segment on Joy FM.
Well, a Fairfax journalist has contacted us for interview and is also seeking some of our 'readers' to interview.
People who live in Moreland, Darebin, Yarra, City of Melbourne, Port Melbourne, Albert Park (biasically the Melbourne Weekly and Emerald Weekly areas). We will come and view your rental property and give you tips on cheap and easy ways to improve your ecological footprint. Think of it is a workshop in the comfort of your own home with samples, handouts and lots of interesting information.
Fairfax would then like to interview you afterwards and take some pics.
It would be a great way for you to plug your business by mentioning the name and what you make and including some items to be included in photographs. We'd be ever so grateful and you'd be doing your bit for the environment.

The rather wonderful GoMa had a wonderful exhibition "The 6th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT6)". Here's a few pics:

Friend from the muesum:
And just some scenic spots where we were staying...so green everywhere compared to Melbourne!
We had a combined Aduki/Green Renters stall all day saturday at the Green Earth Festival before catching a flight back home. It was the first festival of it's kind in Brisbane and was strictly vegan with some yummy food options including funky pies, various indian and sri lankin stalls and sweet treats. There was vegan poetry, music, a film tent and it was a good day with a reasonable turn out but I couldn't help feeling it was a case of preaching to the converted in regard to challenging the status quo. It was extremely hot and I got rather sunburnt but we made some goods contacts.
It also demonstrates how difficult it is to do stalls in other states as it's too hard to carry along a marquee and any big promotional material, so it's easy to look amateurish.
Here's me pre burning looking very unfashionable:
So it was very much a whistlestop visit with no shops and only a touch of sightseeing. All rather exhausting but good fun!

There's even a rather amazing teapot!
One of the cutest embroideries I've seen in ages! A Sublime stitching embroidery masterly completed by Cath
A bunny and crochet! What could be better? From the blog of the amazing Steph

I bought these dishcloths on madeit.com.au . Not sure how practical the colours will be in the long term, but they are a good alternative to synethic factory made dishcloths and can be washing in the washing machine. Their life span is suggested to be 5 years which is very satisfying! The melmac plate is part of a set, which I couldn't resist. Must remember to not put this lot into the microwave!
Some lovely fresh produce from our veggie patch and potted herbs: zucchini, pumpkin, tomatoes, chillies, mint, rosemary, parsley...our next aim is to break down the clay soil out the front so we are able to plant vegetables in the middle of the front garden.

I'm sure I'm not too old for these bunny shoes
I've decided I need a little red wagon!
I think this quilt would rid me of small bits of unused material forever! Might try a cushion first though...

if you are vegan or vegan inclined can you let me know what you favourite vegan product is that you like to buy? Something that you have to buy besides staples like fruit, vegetables, rice etc. It could be cheeze, icecream, sausages, soy milk, whatever really....It's for an article I'm working on, I will reveal all shortly.
Some cheeky bunnies to laugh at...
And of course, some chocolate, cocktails and cups of tea. *sigh*
PS. How cool is this kitchen?
